How should grooming fit into my dog’s life?
-A groomer should be someone who you consider a part of your dog’s wellness team. Your dog should have as much consistency as possible when it comes to their grooms for both their physical and emotional well-being. Ideally, a dog will be with the same groomer for their entire life, and see them roughly every 4-6 weeks. This way, your groomer can help you identify changes in your dog’s body and behavior.

That’s why the study of body language, behavior, and positive training methods is just as important as keeping up to date on new grooming techniques, tools, and products. Every groomer at Grateful Grooming is CPR and First Aid certified, and refresh these certifications often. Grateful Grooming is a safe, fun environment where your dog can be themselves.

“Basic” grooming is no longer available at Grateful Grooming. This is because we believe your dog deserves high quality care and products. Every dog gets skin, coat, and nail care customized to their individual needs. Our prices also include engaging with your pet in our cage-free environment with play, treats, hugs, photos, mental stimulation, and enormous amounts of love and compassion in addition to top of the line services offered by certified professionals.

These are estimated prices for dogs who are groomed on standard 4-6 week schedule. Prices may vary as our services are highly individualized. Combination coats, matted pets, hand scissoring, and special handling not included in these prices. If your dog has special needs, please call for a quote.

Little dogs: 10-20lbs $75.00-80.00
Small Medium dogs: 20-30lbs $85.00

When your dog arrives at Grateful Grooming, they are first allowed to explore the salon to decompress. They are played with and engaged with, or comforted and soothed, based on their emotional needs. They will experience a luxury bath with high-quality natural shampoos, which includes a comforting massage and deep-coat conditioning. All groomers at Grateful Grooming are certified canine estheticians. Dogs are hand dried and every inch of their skin is examined for abnormalities. Each aspect of the groom is customized to your dog and lifestyle needs. No dog is pushed past their level of comfort or forced through any part of the grooming process. All dogs are treated with extreme compassion and care. Dogs are treated with absolute respect, positive reinforcement, and mindful attention to detail.
